Every deploy becomes a commit: Copilot Studio solutions are exported, unpacked and pushed to Azure DevOps automatically whenever a pipeline deploys them.
Low-code agents still deserve source control. When a solution is deployed to Test through Power Platform Pipelines, this setup exports it from dev, unpacks it into readable files and commits it to an Azure DevOps repo. No clicks past the deployment itself.
How it flows
- A maker deploys in Copilot Studio.
- The Power Platform pipeline runs, with an approval gate if you’ve set one up.
OnDeploymentCompletedfires, and a Power Automate flow queues an Azure DevOps pipeline.- That pipeline exports, unpacks, commits and pushes.
It’s fully dynamic: any solution that goes through the pipeline gets committed. There’s also a restore pipeline, so you can edit in code and push changes back to dev.
