Pipeline approval gate
A human approval gate for Power Platform Pipelines, with delegated deployment so makers never touch production.
Nothing ships without a yes. When a deployment reaches a gated stage, this flow pauses it, asks for approval in Teams and email, and then tells the pipeline to carry on or stop. The person who asked gets a Teams card either way.
The moving parts
- Trigger: the Dataverse When an action is performed trigger on
OnPreDeploymentStarted. - Approval: the basic Approvals connector, as an actionable card.
- Decision:
UpdatePreDeploymentStepStatuswith20to continue or30to stop.
Delegated deployment means the pipeline deploys as a service identity, so makers never need rights in production.
